Building Partner / SubContractor Agreement
Even though we have a large, well trained and highly skilled staff,
there are times we need to bring in additional construction professionals.
All of our building partners must sign a contract agreeing to follow
our strict guidelines. A copy of those guidelines is below. You can
feel confident our staff and our partners will be provide professional service.
- Columbus Exteriors will provide materials that are needed to perform the project at hand. Nails,
staples, caulk, tape, etc.
- Project manager must first approve any material the subcontractor would prefer to use. Nail guns,
staplers, and ladders, etc.
- All subcontractors shall have work comp. liability insurance, W-9, and federal ID number before any
checks will be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Main Lights will be re-installed at the end of every workday. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Subcontractors will be responsible for any damage done while work is being performed. Torn screens,
broken lights, broken windows, broken lawn furniture, shrubs, etc. Columbus Exteriors will expect you to
repair within 36 hours. If Columbus Exteriors does the repairs we will charge you accordingly and subtract that
amount from your next bill.
- All bills must be filled out completely. Must include project name, address, type of material, date, and
your company name. Proper billing sheet must be used.
- Your area must be clean and secure at the end of each workday. For any reason Columbus Exteriors
must pick up your area you may be charged for our labor. You will receive 1 warning before any action
is taken.
- We understand you are a subcontractor but Columbus Exteriors expects you to be on the job by 8:00am and work
a full day. Please call project manager if you are not going to show up or if you are going to be late so we
can notify the homeowners as to when the crew will arrive at the job site.
- Profanity is not acceptable language when on project grounds.
- Music is to be kept at moderate level at all times.
- Speed limits are to be observed on project grounds as well as any other project rules.
- Wasted or stolen materials will result in swift action.
- Cigarette butts should not be thrown on the ground. Please place in garbage.
- All air conditioning boxes, electrical boxes, sprinkler boxes, etc., must be re-attached at the end
of each workday. If Columbus Exteriors has to re-install these there will be a labor charge on your bill.
- All subcontractors will be expected to maintain a level of quality demanded by
Columbus Exteriors and project manager.
